Hi everybody..... I have been reading these forums for some time now after being directed here after searching for "Pillars of Tubal Cain" after being acquainted with the book..... I am basically looking for any books that tell the how and the why so to speak rather than a book of spells........ I like reading about all the gods and goddesses and history etc but I don't really care to practice magic myself...... I have read pillars of tubal cain and book of fallen angels (almost I have read most of both) and am looking for more books like them...... They don't have to be about fallen angels although that is what i'm interested in I would just like any books be less magic and more information so to speak..... Thanks and any help would be appreciated and I am looking forward to any discussions........

I'd also suggest Masks of Misrule if you have not read it yet, and possibly some of the articles (if not books) by the Cultus Sabbati's Magisters Andrew Chumbley and Daniel Schulke.

Tubelo's Green Fire by Shani Oates has been getting great reviews and it is on the subject you are seeking.

One of the books I have really enjoyed that features the Nephilim lore is actually Welsh in nature. It is called Cewri Cymru by Chris Grooms. Inside it, towards the end, there is some great manuscript info but you really have to have a little knowledge of Welsh to get any enjoyment in it. Basically, it covers the welsh giants to include alot of information on place names and small excerpts of various pieces of story and every now and then maybe even some folklore. It is a very dry read and the book is expensive. This is actually in my list of favorite books, but then I tend to kind of be a masochist when it comes to reading dry books but it is on a topic that I really enjoy reading about. So, if you are very serious this might be a book that you would be interested in - but if its only passing or surface interest or you are more interested in just lore... well, not necessarily the best book for you. However, I find that you can extrapolate an amazing amount of information from it if you are well studied and have a good foundation already present.

Myths and Symbols in Pagan Europe by Hilda Roderick Ellis Davidson is worth reading. _________________ Are there such beings as witches now? We hear of none. --Then the last grand question, to which a secret of some importance is attached--What has become of them? Demonologia, JSF, 1827 |
